Mikki DeFever
Children's Book Author
For over 20 years, Mikki worked with kids as a reading interventionist and play-based behavioral specialist helping kids navigate big feelings and build confidence.
Now she writes stories that do the same. Some are heartfelt, some gently weave in self-regulation strategies, and some are all about the laughs.
Her first two picture books will be published in 2028. She is represented by Katie Erickson at Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency.
